Features Guillaumes château 3D
The so-called Queen Jeanne castle at Guillaumes in the Alpes-Maritimes was built in the 13th century, on a rocky outcrop above the village.
It was a defensive building at the confluence of the Var and Tuébi rivers.
Around 1700, Vauban found a real stronghold on the border between the Kingdom of France and the States of Savoy and added low bastioned buildings to it.
Currently leaving the prestigious circuit of the red gorges of Daluis and Cians, it is possible to see the remains of medieval origin, the constructions carried out by Vauban having been destroyed in 1760 following the Treaty of Turin.
The 3D augmented reality application offers you an immersive experience to discover the reconstruction of the castle and its fortifications at the time of Vauban in the 18th century.
More than ever Guillaumes is positioning itself as a village of traditions and authenticity at the foot of the Valberg resort with the enhancement of its historical heritage which shines in the County of Nice and the entire region.
